FAQ'S

Q.  What is Telemetry?

A.  Telemetry is a technology that allows for measuring and reporting of information of interest to gain knowledge on the subject being studied.  In our case, we used telemetry to study the behavior and niche of a single box turtle, to represent that of a larger population.

Q.  Where does the name box turtle come from?

A.  The name box turtle comes from the turtles adaptation to enclose itself in it's shell, like a box.  This acts as a defense mechanism against predators, serving as a "concrete box" that not even the strongest teeth could bite through.
